Halloween Party

We will be having our Halloween party this week at Kelly's house! Lisa sent out the sign up sheet yesterday, so hopefully you all will be there with the kiddos!

THIS WEEK CANCELED (Oct. 23rd)

Hi Ladies,

Due to the amount of illness surrounding our kids and families, our meeting for tomorrow is canceled. We'll take this week off to recover! Next week is the Halloween Party, and it is our prayer that the kids and mommies will all feel better and ready for a fun time. Lisa will be updating everyone this week about the Halloween Party. Please be checking email and the blog to sign up for activities or food to bring and to find out more information.

For those who attend Austin Stone, Kim will be baptizing Lisa this week at the Family Reunion. It would be great to see you all there and supporting our sister as she is publicly affirming her salvation in Christ!

Fall Women's Retreat

Join the women of the Stone for the Fall Women's Retreat. It is on November 7-8th (Friday onto Saturday). What a great way to spend time with the Lord, fellowship with other females, and have some time for yourself!! You do not have to go to the Stone to attend. Discernment Week

Family Day

Hello ladies! I recently discovered a fun weekend outing for the whole family. It is called DINOLAND and it is in Zilker Park. There is an exhibit trail of 30 life-size dinosaurs and this weekend Oct. 11-12, they are having a special weekend festival filled with arts and crafts, food vendors, entertainment and activities for the kids. The exhibit is open from 10 am - 5 pm daily. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3-13. For more details, check out www.zilkergarden.org. I (Lisa) plan on taking Noah on Saturday. If anyone is interested in going, we could all meet and hang out together. I really think that Dads would enjoy this outing as well, and this would be a good time for our husbands to get to know one another. If anyone is interested in going we can talk about it on Thursday at Moms group.

A Few Updates

This next week we will be meeting at Kelly's house (she will be sending out directions before time), and she will also be providing snacks.

Remember to bring Rachel any money that you have for the food we provided for Young Lives ($12). Also, please bring Lauren $20 for our babysitting help.
